JAMMU: Reacting sharply on the proposed seminar on the topic, ‘How to resist Indian State fascism’ by Kashmiri separatist hardliner Syed Ali Shah Geelani on 14th June 2015, State VHP Patron Dr. Ramakant Dubey on Wednesday said that if Geelani knew the meaning of fascism, he would have certainly kept himself on the top of fascists’ list.
“Throwing out nearly five lakh Hindus from their homes and then raising number of hurdles in their return is the ample proof of fascism. Geelani like people are fully aware that at the time of partition refugees of Muzaffarabad area were to be rehabilitated in the Valley which was resisted tooth and nail by Kashmiri leaders. Was this not fascism?” He asked.
He further said that speakers invited in the aforementioned seminar include Simranjeet Singh Mann from Akali Dal, Kanwar Pal Singh from Dal Khalsa, some Christian representatives and Gautam Nolakha, a so called human rights leader are the one who generally speak against India.
Dubey impressed upon the central and state leaders to throw out people like Geelani from the country to contain the damage caused to country and to curb the destructive elements. He demanded ban on organising such seminars.
Hemraj Khajuria Working President, Dr. Sham Lal Gupta General Secretary, Shakti Dutt Sharma Mahanagar General Secretary and Rakesh Sharma Co-convener Bajrang Dal were also present in the press conference.
