JAMMU: A meeting of DCC Urban Jammu was held here on Wednesday which was presided over by Anil Chopra, District President Jammu (U) wherein detailed discussion on the forthcoming municipal elections were held for a better selection of the candidates and a full-fledged strategy for a brilliant success.
The speakers appreciated the fact that a fair selection of the candidates who have following in their respective wards would be fielded while addressing the meeting.
Chopra urged the members to gear up for the municipal elections to be announced shortly and accepted the fact that the selection would be very fair as per the demands raised by the gathering and the elections would be contested with all sincere efforts and convictions. The participants also raised very relevant issues of failure of regular ration supplies, ration cards, electric supply, health, sanitations etc which were required to be addressed by the government where public is facing a lot of problems on these accounts.
