UDHAMPUR: The NSS Unit and Youth Club of Government Degree College Neeli Nallah, Udhampur on the eve of “World Bicycle Day” organized Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The programme was organized under the guidance of Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Satinder Kaur, who was also Patron of the programme. A large number of students participated in the programme and displayed their posters and slogans. Dr. Satinder Kaur, Principal, in her address gave importance of celebrating World Bicycle Day, as it imparts awareness about positive impact of bicycle use on climate and human health.
The posters and slogans were adjudged by Prof. Swati Dutt (Conever, College Development Committee) and Prof. Shaista Yasmeen (Convener, Eco Club and Youth Club). In the poster and slogan writing competition Mohd Azam secured first position, Sonika Devi secured second position and Isha Sharma and Tania Akhter shared third position. Dr. Radha Rani, NSS Programme Officer, was the coordinator of the programme.
