JAMMU: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu sent four students to participate in “Ponger” a musical programme organised by the Department of Art and Culture Languages. Stanzin of class III sang a song on light Music ‘Tere Bin’. She attained a cash prize and stood first in the light music category. Tanishika Tickoo of class VI sang a Sufi song, ‘Khawaza Mere Khawaza’. Sanviti Dhingra of class VII sang a folk song and won first prize in Folk Category. Dhanya of class III also participated in the musical fest. The Principal of the School, Dr. R.P Singh congratulated the students and appreciated the music teachers, Sonika Jamwal and Joginder Pal Singh for grooming the students.
