SRINAGAR: The government has ordered enhancement of intake capacity of Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu from the present 160 to 300. Orders to this effect were issued on Friday. The enhancement of intake capacity has been made in the disciplines of Electronic and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering.
The J and K Board of Professional Entrance Examination has been asked to make selection/allocation of seats to the increased/revised number from academic session 2015-16 on the basis of the Common Entrance Examination, conducted annually.
