Gandhi felicitated at International Film Festival

JAMMU: K.K Gandhi, an eminent artist of J and K, was honoured by presenting memento and shawl in recognition to his contribution in the field of visual art during 3rd Delhi International Film Festival held at NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi in collaboration with Delhi Tourism and NDMC.
Subash Ghai eminent film personality Chief Guest along with Arpana Kour, eminent artist of the country honoured eight artists from across the country in which K.K Gandhi was the lone artist chosen by the jury to represent J and K State as a special invitee and Guest of Honour.
On the occasion, national art camp was also organised in which Gandhi’s painting was exhibited besides other art works and the same was centre of attraction for the visitors and participants. It is pertinent to mention that for K.K Gandhi this year has remained as the most eventful year with two solo shows to his credit, one at Chandigarh and other at H.Q Northern Command besides, he participated in six group shows, six art camps including two international camps. Moreover, he brought laurels by doing live paintings on five different occasions in front of large number of people.
Gandhi was also the part of Kashmir Lavender Art Festival organised by Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine and National Artisan Workshop organised by the Northern Command. He received high appreciation and acknowledgement for his excellent coordination.
