GANDERBAL: District Ganderbal defeated district Srinagar by 10 runs to clinch the title in the girls category of Fourth State under-19 Tennis ball Cricket Championship, held here in Madr-i-Meharbaan Sports Stadium, Ganderbal on Monday.
The championship being hosted by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Ganderbal, witnessed participation of 48 girls from four districts and 180 boys from 15 districts. Boys competition will be held from Tuesday. Selection of players to represent Jammu and Kashmir in the National School Games will be made during this championship.
