BANI: A delegation of Gaddi and Sippi communities of J and K State, under the banner of All J and K Gaddi Sippi Tribes Welfare Association (Regd.) felicitated (congratulated) MLA Bani Jewan Lal (Gaddi) on being elected as MLA.
The delegation was led by State President of the Association Parveen Jaryal and comprised of community members from Bhadarwah, Chenani, Pancheri, Ramban, Bani and Billlawar. On this occasion Jaryal asserted that Jewan Lal, who recently resigned from the post of SDM, is a veteran social activist and during his service as SDM he was known for his honesty, integrity and meritorious services as an administrator.
He said that there is a wave of joy and happiness among Gaddi and Sippi communities across the length and breadth of the State, as for the first time in the history of Gaddi and Sippi tribes a Gaddi candidate got elected as member of the State Assembly in J and K. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the BJP leadership in the State as well as in the Centre for giving party ticket to Jewan Lal, a Gaddi candidate from Bani Assembly constituency thereby enabling this underprivileged and downtrodden community to get representation in State Legislature.
He further continued that all the successive State Governments have ignored the Gaddi and Sippi tribes (ST) in all spheres of development and that these tribes have pinned high hopes on BJP leadership for redressal of their grievances.
