State Billiards and Snooker Championship at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
In best of three opening round, Furkan, Inderpal Singh, Ankush Sharma, Jaswinder Singh, Manik Sharma and Rohit Sharma won their respective ties in straight frames. Shubam Parbhakar, Saeed Bashir and Adnan Lone faced some resistance from their opponents before they emerged winner.
