POONCH: To review of the functioning of Revenue Department, Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, M.H Malik, convened a meeting of officers of the Revenue Department here today.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mumtaz Ali Chowdhary, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shafiq Ahmed Choudhary, Tehsildar Haveli, Wakeel Ahmed Bhat, Tehsildar Mendhar Dr Abdul Khabir, Tehsildar Mandi Israr Ahmed, Tehsildar Surankote Majid Tantray, Tehsildar Mankote, Shehzad Khan and Naib Tehsildars of the respective Naibats attended the meeting.
The functioning of various aspects of the department with regard to maintenance, updating and preservation of land record, protection of Kahacharai and other state land from encroachment, settlement, Jamabandhi, land acquisition, Roshni Act were reviewed. The Deputy Commissioner directed all the concerned officers to ensure timely crop inspection and proper maintenance of land record. The supervisory officers were directed to ensure partial of Girdawari and furnish the details of last three years to Deputy Commissioner Office.
