Four injured in road accidents

UDHAMPUR: In two different road accidents, four persons got critically injured here in Udhampur on Friday.
According to a report, a speeding vehicle bearing (RG01G-1919) which was on its way to Jammu from Srinagar on reaching near village Rathain hit a bike (JK14D-6195) and fled from the spot. Critically injured bikers were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur and were identified as 18 years Raman Kumar son of Bishan Dass resident of Sunal, Neeraj Singh son of Jeet Singh resident of Jaganoo Morh and Deepak Mahajan son of Jagdish Kumar resident of Chenani, at present Udhampur. On seeing critical condition of Neeraj Singh, he was referred to Command Hospital Udhampur.
While in another accident a Nano car (JK14B-3317) hit a passerby in Gole Market in Udhampur. In the accident one person got injured and was identified as Ravi Kumar son of Bodh Raj resident of village Langa in Ramnagar. Injured was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. Udhampur and Rehmbal Police have registered the cases and launched the investigation.
