NAGROTA: Police on Tuesday arrested four gamblers and recovered Rs. 1,1780 as stake money from the gambling spot.
According to a report, Nagrota Police conducted a raid at Jagti near Matador Stand and arrested the four gamblers namely Vijay Kumar son of Khem Raj Bakshi resident of H. No. 119 Bakshi Nagar Tehsil and Distt Jammu, Taj Krishan son of Jagir Nath resident of Flat No. 9, Block No. 74, Lane No. 16 Mini Township Jagti Tehsil Nagrota Distt Jammu, Ashu Bhat son of Prem Nath Bhat resident of Flat No. 2, Block No. 55, Lane No. 10 Mini Township Jagti, Tehsil Nagrota Distt Jammu and Karnail Singh son of Behari Lal resident of Flat No. 12, Block No. 94, Lane No. 18 Mini Township Jagti Tehsil Nagrota Distt Jammu and seized playing cards and stake money of Rs. 1,1780 from their possession. Police has produced the gamblers in the Court of Law under section 13 Gambling Act.
