Four bikers injured in head-on collision

BHADARWAH: Four youths got injured in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a scooter (Scooty) in Bhadarwah town of District Doda, on Sunday afternoon.
According to police sources, speeding motorcycle collided with scooter coming from opposite direction near Bhadarwah University Campus on Sartingal Road, leaving four young bikers getting injured.
They were immediately shifted to the Sub District Hospital Bhadarwah by locals.
“After first aid ,one of the seriously injured youth Nazim Batt was referred to Govt Medical College Jammu. However, the condition of others is said to be stable,” said SDPO Bhadarwah Sardar Sajjad Ahmed Khan.
“Motorcycle bearing registration number JK02T-7419 has been seized, however someone fled with the scooty from the spot,” said SHO Bhadarwah Anuroop Sharma.
A case vide FIR No 62/2016 under section 279,337 RPC has been registered at Police Station Bhadarwah.
The injured bikers have been identified as Nazim Batt (24) son of Tariq Hussain resident of Sartingal, Aadil Manzoor (26) son of Manzoor Ahmed resident of Village Chakka, Yasir (27) son of Jaffer Hussain resident of Monda Sartingal and Asim Gafoor (23) son of Abdul Gafoor resident of Sultanpura, Bhadarwah.
