Forum mourns deaths in Nepal tremors

JAMMU: Trikuta Nagar Intellectual Forum (TNIF) President Nitish Mahajan (Former Member Railway Advisory Board) expressed grief on the death of more than 4,000 people and damage to properties in Nepal due to high magnitude tremors.

Addressing a condolence meeting at Main Market Trikuta Nagar Jammu, Nitish Mahajan said, “We are deeply distressed at loss of life and property due to earthquake in Nepal”. He called upon international community and Non-Government organisations to turn up for providing relief to the affected families in Nepal.

All the office bearers of Trikuta Nagar Intellectual Forum also offered condolences to the bereaved families over the death of their loved ones in Nepal due to devastating earthquake. They offered special prayers for the deceased and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.

They also expressed sympathy with those people of J and K State whose relatives and loved ones have lost their lives in Nepal earthquake.

Those who attended the meeting present included SHO Trikuta Nagar Naveen Angral, B.S Puri (Retd Chief Education Officer), Kuldeep Singh Arora (Retd ETO), S.P Langer (President Mahajan Sabha), R.S Manga, Sunil Sharma (Retd DSP), Narinder Sharma, Sandeep Sharma, Krishan Kishore Khajuria and Krishan Sharma.
