POONCH: The Non-Gazetted Forest Officers’ (NGFO)strike continued on Tuesday also in support of their demands.
The NGFO Association District President Haji Mohd Afzal while addressing the big gathering of the employees said that their genuine demands which include extra pay for 2-1/2 days, removal of pay anomalies, payment of risk allowance and regularisation of daily wagers have not been fulfilled by the government as such they would continue their strike. He further said that if the department does not pay heed to their demands, they will intensify their agitation.
Prominent among others who spoke include Tariq Ali Shah Mohd Farooq, Iftaker Ahmed, Hadait Ullal Khan, Idrees Khan, Qarar Hussain Shah and Gurcharan Singh.
