UDHAMPUR: On the occasion of 65TH Van Mahotsav, Forest Department Ramnagar Divison organised awareness cum plantation drive at Government Degree College Ramnagar.
Principal Government Degree College, Ramnagar, Prof. Kusum Gupta was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Senior officers from various departments, Sarpanchs, Panchs, NGOs and students of the host college participated in the event.
As many as, 500 plant saplings of different species like Chir, Bahunia, Bottle Bush, Saroo, Retha, Amla, Arjun, Guava were planted in the college complex.
The plantation programme was organised under the supervision of Divisional Forest Officer, Ramnagar, Anil Kumar Atri.
Range Officer South Range, Satish Kumar, Range Officer North Range, Avtar Singh and Range Officer Social Forestry Ramnagar, Chuni Lal were present on the occasion.
