JAMMU: Guru Nanak Public School, Ludhiana hosted the CBSE Football Cluster wherein 56 teams from various states participated. The boys Under-19 team of JK Public School (JKPS) Kunjwani participated in the cluster and made the school proud.
The team played three matches reaching to the quarters. The team played its first match against Path Seekers, Beas, the second match against DIPS Mehta Chowk, Jalandhar and third match against DPS Ludhiana. The first match was won by 4-0, second by 5-0 and third by 4-1. The team performed enthusiastically and bagged eighth rank among 56 schools. The players, Manik Bamotra, Ankashwar Singh, Hiteshwar Singh, Aditya Salathia, Sanjeev Choudhary, Mohd. Reyan Chak and Vildan Gul displayed their outstanding performance.
School management congratulated the students and wished them all the luck for future endeavours.
