JAMMU: Param Sports and Shaheen Sports, Jammu among seven teams won their respective league matches in the ongoing XXIII State Football Championship at twin venues of GGM Science College and Mini Stadium, Parade, here on Wednesday.
While Param Sports defeated Jammu United Club by two goals to nil, Shaheen Sports trounced District Football Association (DFA) Rajouri 9-0. The DFA Baramulla outplayed Jammu Sports 2-0.
The DFA Anantnag also won their tie against J and K SRTC 2-0 and Ganderbal trounced DFA Ramban by a solitary goal. The DFA Srinagar downed Young Star Jammu by five goals to nil while Lone Star FC, Srinagar defeated DFA Kupwara 10-0.
