Food Craft Institute Jammu holds first round of cooking competition

JAMMU: Food Craft Institute (FCI) Jammu conducted first round of cooking competition for students from 9th to 12th standard, here on Friday.
In the first round, 23 students of different schools have participated with full excitement.
Each student brought minimum one main course vegetarian dish and presented it with different innovative styles before panelists.
About twelve students were shortlisted by jury members on the basis of their presentation.
Students from Army Public School Damana, Banyan International School, BSF Senior Secondary School, Presentation Convent and Shiksha Bhawan Higher Secondary School took part.
Students showcased there culinary skills having wonderful passion for cooking.
Executive Chef, Hotel Asia, Naresh was one of the panelist.
Principal, Food Craft Institute Jammu, Jyoti Bhatti highlighted the importance of holding such event in Jammu to provide platform for young talent to showcase their hidden creative skills. He advised participating students to capitalise on their creative talent for better opportunities in the field in their future times.
