Focused attention on strengthening health infra in rural areas: Bali Bhagat

BHADARWAH: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat on Monday laid foundation stone of staff quarters at Sub-District Hospital Bhadarwah to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs.1.91 crore.
Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Bhawani Rakwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhadarwah, Imam Din, Block Medical Officer, Bhadarwah, Dr. Yudhvir Singh and other officers of the Health Department were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that it is endeavour of the government to strengthen the health infrastructure across the State to ensure better working environment in the health institutions for the doctors and para-medics, especially in the rural and far-flung areas. He said residential accommodation for the doctors and para-medics working in the rural areas is a basic requirement and government is paying focused attention in this direction.
On the occasion, the minister called upon the executing agency to complete the construction work of the project within the stipulated time frame by ensuring quality standards strictly as per the specifications.
