NOWSHERA : The flood victims of Limberi and Dandani held a protest at Nowshera under the leadership of Sarpanch Mohinder Pal Sudan and said that number of villagers whose houses were damaged have not been included in the list and they have not received the flood relief.
The protesters also handed over a memorandum to the SDM Nowshera, Deepti Uppal in which they demanded that the names of omitted persons should also be included and they be given flood relief.
Prominent among those who participated in the protest include Kanta Devi, Baldev Singh, Ved Parkash, Madan Lal, Maqbool Hussain, Lok Nath and Manzoor Hussain.
