Flexi-hour working, team spirit enable EPFO Jammu to process 12 death claims in a day

JAMMU: Working towards ensuring social security to all the eligible members and their family members, a team of officers and officials from EPFO Regional Office Jammu under the leadership of Rizwan Uddin, RPFC – I have processed over a dozen claims of death cases where benefits have been disbursed to their family members. The team led by Rizwan Uddin, RPFC – I comprised of Ajit Mishra, RPFC – II, Shiva Murthy T, AO, Ketan Saxena, SSSA and Sanjeev Kumar SSSA.
Women/Family members of deceased employees are getting respectable amounts as benefit (Social Security) of Employees’ Provident Fund, Employees’ Deposit linked Insurance and Pension Scheme in J&K and Ladakh. Special emphasis has been laid on settlement of death claims. Accordingly, multiple death claims have been processed and benefits have been provided to the claimants. This includes PF and Insurance benefits. The insurance benefits of Rs. 4,61,272 was given to the family of Late Sher Singh, Rs. 2,50,000 to the family Late Ravinder Bind and Rs. 2,50,000 to the family member of Late Sandeep Rai Bakshi.
