KISHTWAR: To continue its efforts to bring good governance in the Govt offices, SDM Chatroo conducted surprise visits to various schools.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chatroo Masood Ahmed Qazi during the surprise visit of various schools after three months long winter vacations found five teachers absent from their duties.
According to reports, SDM Chatroo visited various schools of Sub Division Chatroo which includes the schools located in far flung areas and found following teachers absent form their duties which include Rifat Kouser (Master) High School Dadpath, Rakesh Kumar (Teacher) Higher Secondary School Mugalmaidan, Amayat Muzamil (Teacher)Middle School Deller, Irshad Ahmad (Master) and Gulshan Akhter (Teacher) of High School Damber and ordered for their immediate suspension, besides sought explanation from them about their unauthorised absence from their duties.
He also directed the head of the institutions to install biometric attendance system in the schools for effective monitoring of attendance at government institutions.
Public of Chatroo appreciated the action of SDM and demanded regular checking of schools and government offices for their smooth functioning.
