KATRA: Five pilgrims heading to the Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine were on Saturday injured when the bus they were travelling was hit by another one coming from the back direction in Katra town.
The incident occurred when the bus carrying the pilgrims collided with another one in Reasi district, a police official said, adding all the injured were discharged after first aid.
The injured were identified as kuldeep Sharma son of Bhagwan Dass Sharma resident of Jhansi UP, Ram Avtar son of Ram Milan resident of Faizabad UP, Ram Veeti wife of Ram Avtar resident of Faizabad, UP, Servesh wife of Ram Lakhan resident of Faizabad UP and Kazal wife of Vijay Kumar resident of Guradaspur Punjab
A case has been registered and a probe was initiated, the official said.
