Five injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR: Five persons were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
In Kupwara, two motorcycles bearing registration number JK01W-2566 and PB10BL-6161 collided at Kandi, Karnah, resulting in injuries to a pillion identified as Irshad Aziz, son of Muktha Awzan, resident of Kandi Payeen.
Meanwhile, an Alto-800 vehicle bearing registration number JK09A/5292 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Abdul Qayoom Sheikh, resident of Hajinar at Bagh Bela, Karnah. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Sopore, an Alto-800 vehicle bearing registration number JK05E-7321 met with an accident at Hathlangoo, resulting in injuries to a girl. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In Anantnag, a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK02AK-9043 hit and injured a cyclist identified as Huzaib Ahmad resident of Manzhama, Sarnal at Sarnal. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment.
In Kulgam, a Trailer bearing registration number JK02AV-7144 collided with a tractor bearing registration number JK13-3250 on National Highway near Vessu, Mir Bazaar, resulting in injuries to driver of the tractor. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Police have registered the cases in this regard.
