KHOUR: Police on Sunday arrested five gamblers and recovered Rs 2,185 as stake money from the gambling spot.
According a report, a police party of Police Station led SHO Mohd Iqbal on a specific information raided at filed behind Khour market and arrested five gamblers who were identified as Joginder Singh son of Barinda Singh, Balwan Singh son of Sahib Singh, Des Raj son of Dharam Chand, Ashwani Singh son of Joginder Singh and Bhushan Kumar son of Sham Lal all resident of Khour. Stake money of Rs.2,185 and playing cards were also recovered from the spot.
All were booked under Gamblig Act at Police Station Khour.
