REASI: Reasi Cricket Club in collaboration with 61 RR Talwara is goint to start First Uri Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament, in the memory of soldiers of Indian Army who martyred in the recent Uri terrorist attack, at Sports Stadium, here from 15th October.
This was informed jointly by Mohd Nedeem Bhat Chairman Reasi Cricket Club Reasi and Commanding Officer61 RR Talwara, in a press conference, here on Saturday.
The teams from all districts of Jammu Province shall participate in the tournament and attractive prizes shall be given to the winner, runner up teams and outstanding players, they said.
“The monitory collections from the participating teams and sponsors shall be given to the families of the martyr soldiers as a mark of respect to their survival,” they said.
They further added that teams should come with their own kit and bear to and fro expenditures of their own.
