First Pink Ball Cricket Tournament for KPs;Sai Club, RSCC, Oriental Club register wins

JAMMU: Sai Cricket Club (SCC), Rajiv Sameer Cricket Club (RSCC) and Oriental Cricket Club (OCC) won their respective match in the ongoing First Pink Ball Cricket Tournament for KPs being organised by Krish Sports and Events, here on Sunday.
In the first match, SCC defeated Surinder Cricket Club by 75 runs.
SCC, batting first after winning the toss, scored 214 runs for the loss of six wickets. Raj Bhat played a smashing knock of 123 runs off just 59 balls and help his team to set a huge target for opponent. Ashu Bhat also made 43 runs off 32 balls. For Surinder Club, suman picked two wickets while while Rajesh took one.
In reply, Surinder Club failed to chase the target and made 139 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Kamal Zadoo and Deepak Koul were the top scorers with 51 and 37 runs respectively. Jagnu and Arvind grabbed two and one wicket respectively for SCC.
For his brilliant century knock, Raj Bhat was declared Man of the Match.
In another match, RSCC outplayed Whites Cricket Club (WCC) by 38 runs.
WCC won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first, RSCC was bowled out for 134 runs in 19-1 overs. Naman (43 runs off 28 balls) and Vishu (35 runs off 33 balls) were the main scorers. For WCC, Ravi clinched three wickets and Rahul took two. In reply, WCC failed to chase and made 96 runs for nine on 20 overs. Kamalpreet (20) and Sidharth (12) were the top scorers. Rahul and Vinod shared two wickets each for RSCC. Vinod Bhat of RSCC was named Man of the Match.
In the third and last match of the day, OCC trounced Gopinath Cricket Club (GCC) by huge margin of 179 runs.
Bating first, OCC scored 211 without loss of any wicket. Rohan played inning of 69 runs off 34 balls and Vimarsh made 40 runs off 19 balls. For GCC, Sunil and Balkrishan picked two wickets each. In reply, chasing the target GCC scored only 32 runs for the loss of ten wickets on 10.4 overs. Vimarsh and Praful shared three wickets each. For his all round performance, Vimarsh was declared Man of the Match. Sushil was the Chief Guest on the occasion who gave away man of the match awards.
Today’s matches were officiated by Rakesh and Sunny as Umpires while Fiaz acted as Scorer.
