DODA: First Chenab Valley Premier League is being organised at Doda Sports Stadium wherein a total of 29 teams from Doda are competing against each other to bag the trophy and cash award.
The event is aimed towards promoting sports in the region and also to showcase the hidden cricketing talent of local populace. sporting event like cricket also bind youth irrespective of caste, colour, creed and religion thus promoting social and communal harmony.
The inaugural match was played between teams of Doda Warriors and Chenab Hills under the captainship of Pramod Thakur and Raza Ali respectively.
Army appreciated Atif Lone, Chairman, Chenab Valley Premier League for conducting cricket tournament which is providing an opportunity for the youth of the area to manifest their sporting skills and bolster their self confidence.
