JAMMU: A Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice M.M Kumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur while taking up the alleged Chatta-Sunjwan land scam observed that status report on behalf of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu is still awaited and directed that the needful be done in terms of order dated 10th December, 2014, whereby Division Bench directed to file status report, before the next date of hearing with a copy in advance to the counsel opposite.
The Public Interest Litigation was filed by S.K Bhalla against the alleged hushing-up of Chatta-Sunjwan land scam,
Advocate S.S Ahmed with Advocate Suraj Singh appeared for the PIL whereas AAG H.A Siddiqui and AAG Seema Shekhar appeared for the State.JNF
