JAMMU: Fencer Vansh Mahajan, a member of J and K State team, won bronze medal in team event in 23rd Junior National Fencing Championship held at Billaspur, Chhattisgarh recently.
A student of Civil Engineering of Government Polytechnic Jammu, Vansh gave credit of his performance to his Coach Shotu Lal, who is also accompanying the team, and his icons Ujwal Gupta and Rashid Choudhary for achieving his goal.
Congratulating Vansh for his achievement, Principal, Government Polytechnic Jammu, Ritu Jamwal said he had also represented India in Junior Cadet Commonwealth Fencing Championship at Cape Town South Africa.
K.S Bhatia (Sports Secretary), Inderjeet Singh, K.S Manhas (HoD Civil), Joginder Sharma PEM and staff also congratulated Vansh Mahajan.
