aapNew Delhi:-The Aam Aadmi Party today said that it would apprise the National Human Rights Commission of the findings of its four-member team who recently visited the clash-hit areas of Atali village in Haryana.

The four-member “fact-finding team”, comprised of the party’s Uttam Nagar and Okhla MLAs Naresh Balyan and Amanatullah Khan respectively, along with leaders Abhas Chandela and Feroz Khan, has already submitted its preliminary report to the party leadership.

“They have been asked to prepare a detailed report by tomorrow evening,” a party spokesperson said.

In its preliminary report, the team has condemned the BJP-led Haryana government’s “indifference” towards the plight of victims, who they said “were forced to flee their homes and spend nights in tents”.

“The party has decided to send the detailed report of its fact finding team to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) so that it could take cognisance of this extremely shocking situation in the vicinity of the national capital,” AAP said in a statement.

On Monday, at least five persons were injured and around 15 houses gutted after a clash erupted between two communities over construction of a religious structure in Atali village in Faridabad, following which the district administration has beefed up security.
