JAMMU: Fairy Land Nursery & KG, Rani Bagh Satwari and R Halcyon Kidz, New Plots celebrated Annual Day on Wednesday in the premises of Wazir Janki Nath Memorial (WJNM) Higher Secondary School, here.
Member Legislative Council (MLC) Ch Vikram Randhawa was the Chief Guest, who inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial lamp in the presence of Raman Suri, Karunesh Gupta, Harpal Singh and the Directors of the School Sumalini Kotwal and Himalini Wazir. Sumalini Kotwal, Director of the School, appraised the Chief Guest about the schools.
The children presented a colourful cultural programme based on social issues.
Ch Randhawa distributed prizes among meritorious students of the host school.
A memento was also presented to Vikram Randhawa by Samira Kotwal and Raghini Wazir. Vikram Randhawa assured the school management for providing computers to the school. The vote of thanks was presented by Himalini Wazir, Principal and Director of the School.
