Extend Amnesty scheme till end of pandemic: UDA

JAMMU: Hitting out at the Power Development Department (PDD) for cutting off electricity connections of those who are not paying electricity bills, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has expressed resentment against Government for not extending depositing date of installments of JKPDD Amnesty Scheme amidst coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement issued here today, Rajiv Mahajan, Convener UDA, appealed to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to look into the matter and give directions to the authorities concerned for extending Amnesty Scheme till end of pandemic.
