UDHAMPUR: A joint meeting of Expenditure and Media Certification and Monitoring Committees (MCMC) was held under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rajeev Magotra, at his office chamber here today.
In the meeting, the committee members were informed about the important aspects of election viz expenditure monitoring, media certification and monitoring and Model Code of Conduct.
Magotra impressed upon the committee members for maintenance of proper record by the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) and expenditure Monitoring Committee members for effective monitoring of election expenditure. Issues related to violation of Model Code of Conduct, maintenance of shadow register and paid news were also discussed during the meeting.
The committee members were asked for daily reporting by MCMC for fair conduct of Assembly elections.
IAS Prob. Kritika Batra, District Treasury Officer, Sanjay Kumar,District Information Officer, Udhampur, Dr A. Hansa, Treasury Officer, Ramnagar , Treasury Officer, Chenani, and Anil Dubey, member MCMC attended the meeting.
