REASI: To mark one year of coming to power of the Narendra Modi Government an exhibition projecting achievements and policies of the government was on Tuesday inaugurated by MLA Reasi-Ajay Nanda in an impressive function here at Reasi.
General Manager Salal Power Station-AG Ansari, officials from Salal Power Station and a large number of locals were also present on the occasion. The exhibition is organised by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) Prasar Bharti in coordination with Salal Power Station of NHPC Limited. At the exhibition, different initiatives of the government in various sectors including ‘Jan Dhan Yojana’ for financial inclusion, ‘Annadata Sukhi Bhava’ for farmers’ welfare, ‘Shramdeva Jayate’ for ensuring dignity of labour, Beti Bachao, Beti Padao Abhiyan , Pradhan Mantri Bhima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and ‘Swacch Bharat’ for cleanliness were shown. Outside the exhibition premises, a video summarising the initiatives with the tag-line “Utkarsh ka ke varsh, Achhe din ki aur agrasar” (A year of prosperity, en route to good days) was also shown.
Nanda while speaking on the occasion said an elaborate plan has been made to take government’s achievements to the people and the idea is to capture all the initiatives which have been taken by the government in different sectors whether it is economy, social sector, infrastructure, transparency through pictorial designs and multimedia exhibition.
