Shanti Devi 71 years, from Bangar village of Jind is a perfect example of grit, determination and handiwork. She has won three gold medals in athletics at the state level. At her ripe age, women generally lead a sedentary lifestyle. Physically, they have grown out of shape and suffer due to arthritis and other age-related diseases that bring their life to a grinding halt. Shanti Devi has set an example for good health and an active lifestyle, which needs to be emulated by all. Life is worth living only if we keep sound health.
