JAMMU: Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu in collaboration with All Ladakh Muslim Student Association (ALMSA) Jammu and Anjuman-e-Haidery New Plot on Monday held a protest condemning the barbaric act of execution of 47 people including Ayatollah Sheikh Baqir Nimr Al-Nimr a Shia Cleric by Saudi Government.
A large number of Muslims joined the protest by raising slogans, holding placards against the Saudi Royal Family Regime.
President, Anjuman, Syed Amanat Ali Shah said that it is very sad news that Ayatollah Nimr has been executed after the unlawful detention.
He added it is the shameful and hypocritical approach of Saudi Regime that on one side they recently made a group of several Muslim countries to counter with the menace of ISIS and on the other hand by doing this barbaric act of execution they proved their real intentions.
He stressed that Human Rights Commission should take strong note against the Saudi Zionist Regime and also added that we will not let Saudia Government to succeed in their plans of dividing Shia Sunni by creating such issues.
We are united and will remain united for the sake of Islam. He also added that now it is our duty to keep speaking and raise voice against the tyranny of Saudi Regime.
Prof. Sujat Khan, Secretary Anjuman, in his address, said that it is very strange that a nation like Saudi Arabia who executed an innocent is the leading UN Human Rights Panelist. We demand immediate disqualification of Saudi Arabia from UN Human Rights. “Aal-e-Saud working like a puppet under the European influence want to divide Shia Sunni world,” he said and appealed to Muslim world not to make it a Shia-Sunni issue it is a matter of injustice.
Dr. Rawoof Mir, Spokesperson of ALMSAJ, said that it is shameful that some forces like UN and Human Rights who claim to be the advocates of freedom, democracy are extending their support for Saudi Regime which is killing innocent Ayatollah Nimr and others just for criticising their evil designs and policies against Islam. He added that Saudi will face consequences of the killing of Sheikh Nimr. The sacrifice of Al-Nimr will not go waste and it is definitely a start of revolt -against the tyrrany of Saudi Arabia Regime.
He added that we learned from the battle of Karbala how to offer sacrifices and will continue to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of Islam. We will take every possible step to fail the nefarious designs of forces, who are against and try to defame the image of Islam.
