Excitement, jubilation mark celebration of Children’s Day at JKPS Panjtirthi

JAMMU: The most awaited ‘Children’s Day’ was celebrated at JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi with joy and enthusiasm commemorating the birth of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
On the special occasion, Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah wished Happy Children’s Day to one and all and commenced the celebration with special words for jakiians.
She expressed, “As educationists we all must remember that we have a great responsibility towards our society and Nation. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was very fond of children and he always advocated about their education, overall growth and nourishment. He always used to say that without children the world would be devoid of sunshine laughter and love that is why I personally believe children are the most precious creation in the world and we should protect , guide and love them with all our might for they are the leaders of tomorrow” .
She added, “Every child is different kind of flower and they make this world a beautiful garden.”
She addressed the teachers and remarked,” A Child always teaches an adult three things viz to be happy for no reason, to always remain busy with something, and to know how to demand with all his /her might.”
The Prize distribution ceremony to honour the best students of the year- was arranged in a grand manner where the Principal encouraged and awarded the all rounder, well disciplined, well dressed children of each section of each class with beautiful gifts.
Jakiians exhibited beautiful banners and spoke inspiring slogans about the importance of the day to boost the morale of the students.
Bindu Sharma, the music teacher along with the staff members dedicated a beautiful song to the children to remind them that it is a privilege to be a kid and childhood is the best time of one’s life.
Children’s day is the perfect occasion to make them understand that the confidence is the key to win the battle of life.
