JAMMU:Excise Department on Wednesday recovered 500 kilograms of Lahan and 15 bottles of illicit liquor while conducting raids.
Under the active supervision of the Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Mohammed Shahid Saleem, the Excise Team Kathua led by Arun Kumar inspector Excise under the command of Excise and Taxation Officer, Excise Range Kathua, Sandeep Gupta and Excise and Taxation Officer, Eradication and Enforcement Wing Jammu, Suresh Sharma raided the Keengdayal, Maichak, Barnoti and Jakhbhardamba areas of Kathua District.
During the raids, more than 500 kilograms of Lahan and 15 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered which was destroyed by the team on spot.
