JAMMU: J&K Excise and Commercial Taxes Employees Welfare Society Jammu in association with Save on Medicals organised a medical camp for employees and pensioners of both the departments here at Shastri Nagar.
The camp was held under the guidance of leading Cardiologist Dr. Sushil Sharma and his team of doctors. The camp was inaugurated by Excise Commissioner T. Anguchuk, Vice-Chairman JDA Mubarak Singh and Dr. Sushil Sharma.
Free consultation with free RSB, MBI and ECG was extended to visitors besides deliberations on preventive measures to avoid cardiac arrest.
Excise Commissioner T. Anguchuk appreciated the effort and advised for more involvement of the employees in creating awareness in other spheres.
President Vijay Sharma said that the main
objective of society is to ensure welfare of employees and pensioners of both the departments. Secretary General Kuldeep Singh Arora presented the vote of thanks.
Chief Patron of Society Aslam Qureshi Ex-VC JDA who is also the member of society, Patron T.P Singh KAS (Rtd), Dr. Manmohan Singh JMC Commissioner Senior Vice – President of Society, Vice – President Mohan Lal Sharma (Rtd), Treasurer Avinash Sadhotra, Press and Publicity Secretary Sat Pal Khajuria, Secretary, Hakim Singh, Chief Organiser, Kuldeep Mangotra and Chief Advisor Excise S.B.S. Mastana besides other members and their families were also present.
