JAMMU: After paying personal visit to major and minor irrigation canals in Marh constituency spread over to the Indo-Pakistan International border, the former minister and senior BJP leader Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar has appealed to the Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Jal Shakti Department Shaleen Kabra to personally visit the spots to check and monitor irresponsible job work being done during de-silting of irrigation canals in Marh area in Jammu. The waste material is being dropped on the banks of the canals, which will ultimately again block the canals in few days, blocking the canals during the crop season.
