BISHNAH: EVS Department of GDC Bishnah organised a quiz competition on the theme ‘Gharana Wetland and its Birds’ under the supervision of Preeti Dogra, Asstt. Prof, Convener EVS Committee. In all four teams each comprising three students participated in the competition.
Dr. Seema Jamwal, Dr. Renu Gupta, Arti Sharma and Dhiraj Singh from the school faculty were judges. A painting competition on the theme Birds of Gharana- Symbol of Peace and Harmony was also organised. Prof. Kalpana Kesar, Principal of the College was the Chief Guest on the occasion. In the event seven students participated and painted beautiful pictures of various migratory birds who visit Gharana Wetland from far across Central Asia and Europe. Monika Kaith of B.A. Part- III, Nidhu Kaith, Pooja Devi of B.A. Part-II and Priya Dabbay of B.A Part-Ill were adjudged first , second and third while consolation prizes were shared by Aman Kumar and Shilpa Verma of B.A. Part- II by the panel of judges comprising Dr. Suman Charak, Dr. Seema Jamwal and Arti Sharma.
