JAMMU: Teacher-fraternity at every futuristic Institution is a vivacious lot, full of potential and zeal. On the last working day of the school, before proceeding on the summer break, the teachers presented a colourful bonanza of music, dance and fun at JKPS Kunjwani.
Continuing with the tradition of informal interaction with the staff, present on the occasion were Chairman Raj Daluja, Director Shashi Chaudhary, Principal Rajesh Rathore, Vice Principal and Coordinators whose presence was a morale booster for all.
The programme proved to be a stress buster for one & all present in the audience. Neha and Rupal wonderfully coordinated the show.
The programme gained momentum with the very first presentation from Neelam Bhardwaj in the form of a Ghazal “Hosh Waalon Ko Khabar Kya, Bekhudi Kya Cheez Hai”.
It was further pushed to the higher echelons by the recital of a gazal “Chupke Chupke Raat Din” by Upendra Sharma, Music maestro of JKPS Kunjwani.
The foot tapping beats of music and dance medley enthralled all present in the auditorium. A brilliant blend of classical & western dance by Sumit Dabgotra made everyone spellbound. The auditorium witnessed a standing ovation, from one & all, along with a thunderous applause, as he set the stage ablaze with his scintillating performance.
Standup comedy by Munish Gupta with his hilarious performance made the audience burst into peals of laughter.
The poem recitation by the Vice Principal Shashi Rattan in English filled everyone with delight and admiration. Equally deft recitation of a poem from her titled DALIT in Hindi made everyone feel poignant and ponder over the plight of people hailing from the marginalized community.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani, Rajesh Rathore applauded the teachers for putting up such a great show. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the Chairman and the Director for sparing their valuable time and boosting the morale of teachers with their benign presence.
On this occasion, he couldn’t resist his temptation to conduct a small Musical riddle for the dignitaries. He sang the stanza of a song and asked the music lovers to identify the refrain. Thus he conducted three rounds of the riddle, which were correctly identified by the audience. Everyone appreciated his singing and spirit.
The Chairman of the School, Raj Daluja thanked everyone on the occasion, lauded the performers for their versatility and wished everyone a very happy summer vacation.
The Director Shashi Chaudhary also shared her nuggets of wisdom with the teachers and inspired them to read some good story books during the vacation. The programme reached its culmination point with finger-licking & mouth-watering yummy lunch.
