JAMMU: To celebrate the 139th birthday of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra, Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Trust Chairman Parshotam Dadhichi garlanded the statue of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra, Dogra Chowk, Jammu alongwith other Trustee Dayaram Sharma, Subash Chandyal, Aseem Gupta and Shyam Sundar, Adv. Nanda and Corporator Amit Kumar.
Dadhichi recalled the dedication and devotion of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra to the nation and particularly to the people and region of Jammu.
Pt. Dogra fought for the cause of nation as well as Dogra due to his honest and sincere approach towards the problem of Jammu region as well as state the foold agitation and agitation for removal of Article 370 were quite successful. Trust made an appeal to the present J&K administration to pay special attention and budget for the development of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra birth place Smailpur and also to establish a chair in Jammu University in the name of Pt. Premnath Dogra.
