Essay contest on clean India mission held in Reasi

REASI: An essay writing competition on “how to keep India neat and clean by Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ was organised by Government Degree College Dharmari (Reasi) on Thursday.
Dr. T. R Sharma, Principal of the College was the Chief Guest on the occasion who stressed upon students to take active part in this mission by acting as role model for society and spread awareness among the common masses to fulfill the cherished dream of the Father of Nation, Mahatama Gandhi to make India a heaven on earth and regain its status of Golden Bird once again.
The students were very enthusiastic about expressing their innovative ideas and possibilities to make India a clean nation keeping in view its rural character and meager resources.
All the participants tried their best in exploring the mission of Swach Bharat.
Mushtaq Ahmed, a Student of B.A Part -II, Reksha Devi also student of B.A Part -II and Nageena Akhter, a Student of B.A Part -I secured first, second and third position respectively.
Those who were present on the occasion include Zakir Hussain, Khalid Sajad, Parvana Bhat, Ganesh Dutt, Jatinder Bakshi, Mohd Iqbal and other staff members of the College.
Dr. Chander Mohan, Asst Professor English, Dr Pervaiz Ahmed, Lecturer –in- Urdu and Bindu Sharma, Teaching Assistant-in-Hindi adjudged the scripts.
The whole programme was co-ordinated by Parvana Bhat, Lecturer -in- Sociology, GDC Dharamari.
