JAMMU: Former Minister and senior BJP leader, Ch Sukhnandan Kumar set target of ensuring that the National Flag is hoisted on all houses in Jammu as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga programme.
Announcing after Tiranga Bike Rally from Gajansoo to Marh in Jammu on Wednesday, the former Minister said the National Flag would be hoisted from August 13 to 15 under the programme to mark the platinum jubilee celebrations of our Independence.
BSF 12 Bn Commandant Dilbag Singh along with soldiers participated in today’s bike rally.
The former minister said the BJP is keen that maximum houses should hoist the national flag in each all assembly constituencies in J&K, he said, and pointed out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given a call for hoisting the national flag on more than 20 crore houses in the country to celebrate the occasion of the country’s 75th Independence Day as a mega national festival.
To achieve the target, we have made arrangements and also crated awareness among all. Cycle and bike rallies like today will also taken out during this week in different areas, said Sukhnandan Kumar.
The party volunteers would take up a campaign to contact residents welfare associations, youth organisations and various associations to join hands in making the programme a success by hoisting the national flag, Ch Sukhnandan said.
Senior BJP leader said “Tiranga” is our pride and we are very fortunate people to have Narendra Modi as our worthy Prime Minister, who has launched “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign and taken effective measures to ensure reach of the campaign to every citizen.
