Unemployment of educated youth is a serious problem in Jammu and Kashmir. For limited posts advertised lakhs of youth appear for tests and compete for getting government jobs. The youth got further frustated when through SRO 202 of 2015 government cut salaries of
new appointees for initial five years of appointment. The cut was opposed by none of our elected representatives who claim to be wellwishers of youth. Now one finds no logic in our MLA/MLCs attempts to enhance their slaries . This has put a question mark on credibility of our representatives who are looking after their own interest and playing a cruel joke with unemployed youth of the State.
