SRINAGAR: An encounter is on between security forces and terrorists in Sultan Pora area, Baramulla, in Jammu and Kashmir. The joint forces acting on intelligence inputs launched a search operation in the area following which the terrorists opened fire. At least two to three terrorists are holed up in the area and efforts are being made to smoke them out. It is believed that said the terrorists are well-equipped with arms and ammunition.
It is yet to be ascertained whether the militants belong to the Hizbul group or the Lashkar. The area is completely cordoned off.
