JAMMU: State President, Ekta Mehanatkash Trade Manch (EMTM), M.P Gupta (Pawan) has demanded immediate establishment of All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) and Tawi Lake for Jammu.
Talking to reporters, Gupta criticized the PDP-BJP Coalition Government for not fulfilling the promises made with public during the election campaign particularly establishment of AIIMS at Jammu, construction of Tawi Lake and Gandola to promote the tourism industry.
Asking that due to direct train service from various important cities of the country to Katra have gave great set back to the business community of Jammu, he said to attract the tourists, construction of Tawi Lake and Gandole to in need of the hour in favour of business community of Jammu.
Gupta further said people of Jammu region have given massive mandate to BJP for the development of the region, but it is a matter of grave concern that 25 MLAs of BJP betrayed from their promises.
BJP should clear its stand on establishment of AIIMS, Tawi Lake and Gandola in Jammu.
Madan Verma, Shamsher, Santokh Singh, Ajit Kohli, Krishan, Raju, Rajesh and Vikas Sharma were also present.
